The group chat
that actually
leaves the house.

Cavo is a private network for the people you should already know — friends, friends of friends, and the circles you're actually in. Float an idea. Watch who's down. Make it a plan.

How it works

No swiping.
No strangers.
No algorithm picking your Friday.

Everyone on Cavo is at most one introduction away from you. That's the whole trick.

  1. 01

    A member adds your number.

That's the invite. No links, no codes, no waitlist theater. Your phone number is your identity — and your vouch.

    +1 (415) 555-01••
  2. 02

We check you're real, and that you fit.

School, work, a corporate email, a selfie against your ID, and how many members already have your number. Strong applications get in without a referral.

    Your feed is your circle.

Ideas and plans from friends and friends of friends, near you. People you should know, one intro away. Circles for your firm, your school, your scene.

Say you're down. Three yeses and it's a plan.

Anyone can float an idea. When enough people are in, it has legs — the author (or anyone who's down) turns it into an event with the guest list already written.

Circles

Your firm. Your school.
Your people, sorted.

A circle is everyone on Cavo with something directly in common. Goldman NYC has a desk for IB, one for S&T, and a class of 2024 that still can't agree on a bar. Each circle gets a directory, a group chat, and plans only its members can see.

Peers-only circles check your profile — you can't join Goldman NYC without Goldman on it.

House rules

Your number is your identity.

No email to scrape, no username to squat. Members vouch for you with the number they already have saved.

Nobody is a stranger.

Everything you see is from a friend, a friend of a friend, or a circle you belong to. There is no explore page.

Plans over profiles.

The unit of Cavo is a Tuesday dinner, not a bio. Profiles are one headshot and what you do.

Say yes lightly, show up fully.

“I'm down” costs nothing. When it becomes a plan, the guest list is the people who meant it.

Someone probably
already added you.

Put your number in. If a member has it, you skip the line. If not, apply — school, work, and who knows you do the rest.
